Today’s Job report is one of the most watched one all year. As Real Estate prices dwindle slightly in New York City due to saturation, the strength in our Job Market will prevent a full fledged down market or even recession.
Today’s report came back fair with almost all sectors reporting increases. But it was not as strong as projected and will be continued to be watched, especially after next weeks election.
- 161,000 New Jobs
- Unemployment down to 4.9%
- Wages grew 2.8% with private-sector non-farm jobs earned an average $25.92 an hour
- 62.8% of Americas are in the current work force, this is the only sector that fell, as it was 62.9% last month but it has grown from 62.5% earlier this year.
